Human Resource Management Corporation (HRMC) has created a Business Development position.  The successful candidate will be responsible for marketing and selling the area’s most respected career transition services (HRMC), as well as our fast-growing human capital consulting division (The Delta Institute).  This opportunity will focus on further developing HRMC’s growth on a national scale.


Primary Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute a sales/marketing plan, in concurrence with the President, to market and sell HRMC/Delta products and services consistent with quota/revenue expectations.
  2. Manage client activity including developing new business activity, coordinating delivery of services, and overseeing billing.
  3. Quickly grasp clients’ underlying business and organizational issues and provide appropriate HRMC/Delta solutions to support these.
  4. Ascertain all HRMC/DELTA lines of business, products, and services, and implement to benefit clients at a strategic level.

Experience/Education

  1. 3-5 years experience in consultative selling to senior management level contacts in mid- to large-cap companies, preferably to senior HR professionals/executives
  2. Experience in the professional services industry; HR-related product/service sales experience a plus
  3. Achievements demonstrated through a successful track record of producing increased sales
  4. Proven record of developing business relationships from cold calling to closing and through implementation of services
  5. Sales and marketing plan development/execution experience
  6. Ability to manage client relationships, including new and recurring business relationships
  7. Demonstrated creativity and innovation that translates into capitalizing on market opportunities
  8. Minimum bachelor’s degree required
